We are now settled in hyderabad, one of the big cities of India and a major IT hub. I owe some responsibilities to share my view on this city as I now earn my bread and butter from her soil. I could have commented earlier but that could not be a justice as it is impossible to pass comment on a city in very short duration.
Hyderabad - The Place : The city is unique on her own with her picturesque landsacpe, glaring shopping mall, broad road. The city is not very much cosmopolitan but is going to be. The dwellers mainly speak Telugu but Hindi and English are spoken widely and most of the hyderabadi people understand. For tourists, hyderabad is a major attraction for its history and historical evidences. People of hyderabad are warm, friendly and gentle. Crime is not non existent but the level is below par compared to other cities of India. Climate is generally warm and dry. The summer is really scorching while winter is pleasant. Hyderabad market place is just a heaven for shoppers. It is a hub of best quality sarees and Kalamkari, Ikkat, Venkatagiri, Siddipet, Gadwal, Naryanpet and Dharmavaram are well known sarees. Above all it it is a city of pearl. Pearls of all kinds, qualities and price are available here. One will readily get lost in the pearl market in Latbazar near Charminar. One can get all kinds of foods here but the place is famous of Hyderabadi Biriyani. In India, two kinds of Biriyani gharan are popular. One is Lulhnow gharana and the other is Hyderabadi gharana. While Lukhnow gharana is oldest and spicier, Hyderabadi gharana is mouth watering. Most of the people though are vegetarian, yet non vegetarian items are widely available here.
In the coming days, I would like to focus more on hyderabad and the effort will be more towards specialization than generalization.
